Any person who, in good faith, discloses evidence of unlawful conduct, corruption, or serious wrongdoing by any person or body exercising public power shall be protected from retaliation, including dismissal, demotion, harassment, or any other adverse treatment. Such disclosures, where made through appropriate channels or to the press in the genuine public interest, shall not constitute a breach of confidentiality, official secrecy, or any other legal obligation that would otherwise apply.
