Article 15 — The Right to Life

Every person has the right to life. The state shall protect it. No person shall be executed by the state under any circumstances. The right to life includes the right to clean air, clean water, safe food, a natural and unmanipulated climate, access to the healing plants and knowledge of the natural world, and a functioning natural ecosystem. The state has an active duty to protect these conditions as inseparable from the right to life itself.
