Article 51 - Parental Rights

Parents have the primary right and responsibility to raise their children according to their own values, beliefs, and judgement. The state shall support parents in this role. It shall not substitute its own judgement for that of parents except where a child is demonstrably at risk of serious harm. No child shall be subjected to any medical, psychological, or ideological intervention by the state or any institution without the informed consent of their parents, except in a genuine medical emergency.
