Article 60 — Land Ownership

Land on the island of Ireland may be owned only by Native Irish persons, Irish by Descent persons resident in Ireland, Irish by Marriage persons, Irish by Adoption into Family persons, and the Irish state. No foreign national, foreign government, foreign corporation, or international body may own land in Ireland. Land is not merely an asset. It is the physical foundation of the nation. Its ownership is a matter of national survival. The citizenship categories referenced in this article are established in Articles 7 through 12 of this constitution.
